Braden Brown
Assistant Coach
Braden Brown joined the Missouri Western baseball staff in June 2023. Originally from Liberty, Missouri, Brown spent the previous 8 months as a Player Development Coach at Natural Baseball Academy in Olathe, KS. Before working at NBA, Brown was an assistant coach at the University of Central Oklahoma from 2018 to 2022. While at UCO, Brown’s main coaching duties included hitting, infield play, baserunning, recruiting, and assisting with strength and conditioning. Prior to his time at UCO, Brown spent 2 seasons coaching at Coffeyville Community College.
In his six seasons as a college coach, Brown had the privilege of coaching 3 Gold Glove winners on the infield, 4 All-Region Hitters, and 19 All-Conference hitters. Three of the hitters he coached were able to reach professional baseball. In Brown’s 4 years at UCO, the Bronchos ranked towards the top of the conference in fielding each season, including setting the NCAA record for fielding percentage in 2019 on their way to a regional championship appearance.
Prior to his collegiate coaching career, Brown played baseball at Coffeyville Community College, Northeastern State, and Tabor College. At Tabor, Brown had the privilege of competing in the 2015 NAIA World Series.
Brown received his bachelor's degree in Sports Management at Tabor in 2015 and earned his MBA at UCO in 2020.
